This program was primarily written to assist me when I go hiking.
I would get a call from a relative asking where I was and I would read them the coordinates from my GPS.
Without having to make them savvy in GPS translations, they can simply plug in the coordinates I give them and map out where I am.
It also helps that I can call them, give them coordinates, and they can tell me where I am! (Not that I would ever get lost on the trail......)
